Like many of you, I read reviews on here and Google. As someone who spends about 50 nights a year in NYC, I wanted to walk through what I've read. I know many of you will be visiting our great city, and you want to make the most out of it. Location – You will be in an amazing location. I mean amazing. You can walk to the West Village, East Village, Lower East Side, WTC, Wall Street, Little Italy, and you're in Chinatown. These are the areas I spend most of my time in as a local. You're out of the Times Square madness but you can be there in 15 minutes on the subway. You have access to the N, R, Q, W, the 6, the J, Z, and A, C, E trains. I cannot stress how convenient that is. There isn’t a spot worth going to in NYC that you can’t get to with those trains. I’m talking about taking those subway lines and being within a block of Rockefeller Center, the American Museum of Natural History, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Madison Square Park, Williamsburg, Union Square, and more. (little fun spot is you're a few blocks away from the Ghostbuster fire house. It is still an active firehouse and super cool to visit, Google FDNY Ladder 8) Noise – You're off Canal Street. Canal is nuts. You’re in NYC, off a very busy road. You can stay in a quieter area, but you won’t have the same access to subways and great neighborhoods. It’s a trade-off. If you want a true NYC experience, it includes ambulances and loud engines at all hours of the night. Bring a white noise machine. Rooms – They’re small. Probably the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. That said, they are very clean and well-appointed. When we are in the city, we try to spend as little time in the room as possible, so this wasn’t a problem for us. Hotel – Outside of the rooms, the hotel has everything I’d want: a great restaurant if you don’t feel like going out, an excellent coffee bar with every custom drink you could want, and a fantastic bar and lounge scene, perfect for just chilling there.

Excellent value for NYC. The hotel is in a great location for getting around either on foot or on the subway (I had meetings from the Upper West Side down to Wall Street, and it was very convenient). My room was small but well organized, with plenty of hanging space and hangers for a 3-day trip. The bed was very comfortable, including an excellent pillow. Possibly the only drawback was there was only one shelf for clothes, and that was high up. Also, the rooftop bar is a lovely spot at the end of the day.

The king room was mostly bed but the excellent layout made sure you could store your bags, read in a little nook, do your makeup while your partner showers, and then retire to an excellent bed. I have to emphasize that the bed was so comfortable, and really in New York City that's all you need! Shower pressure was also very good. Plus, the staff were excellent, got me a toothbrush, charged my phone, accepted a takeout order on my behalf, etc.

We had a wonderful stay at Walker Hotel Tribeca. The best feature of the hotel is Shauna Harley. The first night we had technical difficulties with the room and Shauna was a lovely host and took care of us. She was there for us to make us feel comfy got us immediately another room and for the inconvenience we got a breakfast voucher and bar vouchers. I would recommend every hotel should have a capable employee like Shauna!

Great location with access to several subway lines. On the boarder of Little Italy and Chinatown, with tons of dining choices in the direct area, including late night pizza slices. This is my third time using booking.com to stay at this hotel because of savings and transparency. The staff is very accommodating and attentive.
